The Jazz Depot – Sunday, June 23rd, 1:00 pm
The Jazz Depot is an organic jazz sextet performing Jazz Standards, Swing, Bebop, Latin and Blues with focus on improvisation. The musician lineup consists of Jay Frigoletto on piano, Eric Clough on double bass, Barry Stainer on drums & vocals, Katherine Shea on vocals, Brian Koning on trumpet and Adam Weber on trombone.
The group has performed at intimate settings around the greater North Central Mass area for over fifteen years. Our current schedule includes monthly Saturday evening shows at The Bull Run, and hosting a monthly Open Jazz Jam at The Phoenix in Shirley on the First Thursday of every month.
Jodie Rachman “Ukelele J” – Sunday, July 21st, 1:00 pm
As the daughter of a camp director Jodie Rachman aka “Ukelele J” sang her way through her childhood years. Now, many years later, having learned to play the ukulele, she has made it her mission to encourage joy and healing through music. She started her Elder Music Sing-A-Long program in January of 2016 and now visits residents in over 25 different facilities conducting group sing-a-longs for a variety of levels and abilities.
Beginning in January of 2019, she launched a fun and interactive pre-school music program called “Song Time Fun”, designed for pre-k children. And, in January of 2022 she published her children’s song and activity book “Song Time Fun”.
Jodie will be joined by Emilie Faucher and Elizabeth Lorrey for this program as they share folk, rock and country songs in three part harmonies.
Santino Proietti – Sunday, August 18th, 1:00 pm
Santino Proietti began his musical career at the age of 10 years old playing drums and at age 17 switched to guitar and vocals. His heart influences are classic rock & roll, Seattle’s Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Neil Young and Bob Marley.
Santino has done studio recordings of his own original works as well as collaborations other bands. At this time he is working diligently to record a CD of his own songs and hopes to complete it soon. Santino was born and raised in Leominster and often can be heard at many of the local venues as a soloist and with other musicians.
Fran LaMalva – Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 pm
Fran LaMalva has been around for a while in these parts and has delighted every single crowd he’s performed for. His polished and intricate guitar styles and arresting vocals capture each song exquisitely, whether it’s one of his own compositions or a compelling cover. A very heartwarming experience!
Not only does Fran play at the top-shelf level, but he builds his own guitars. His luthier business is located at Lizard Eye Guitars and he hails from Hollis, NH.
